Dante's Inferno

"You dull your own perceptions with false imaginings and do not grasp
what would be clear but for your preconceptions."
--from "Paradiso" (Canto I, lines 88–90) (tr. Ciardi).

Dante's Inferno, the latest addition to my ever growing library.
This book, this poem, as it is referred to, is considered
to be the last great work of medieval literature
and the first great work of the Renaissance, (thereby) straddling two worlds.
